Last day in Oahu

Can you believe it we swam with about 20 sharks... Yes sharks!! it was amazing and a little scary at first.

There was about 15-20 sharks and they were about 8-15 feet long. It was once in a lifetime experience.

This is a group of them swimming around. Again I got some amazing pictures from the underwater camera. They were so close you could touch them.

This is what Curt looked like at breakfast after getting up at 5:00am to do the shark encounter. We were so tired and then we flew home 11:00PM. Long day but we went out with a bang.. We also have a cool video we bought to show the kids.

5th Day Oahu

We went on a sail boat and went snorkeling. Isn't Curt the sexy man alive ( I think so) It was fun and saw sea turtles up close (on our water camera sorry)

OK I hate this picture but it is the only one I have of me to prove that I snorkeled too.

5th Day Oahu

After the Rain forest hike we went on a 5 mile bike ride (very easy..mostly downhill)

That was at about half way and there was a beautiful view of Waikiki in the back ground.

5th Day Oahu

We did this all day hiking/biking/snorkeling day. So first was a muddy hike into a real rain forest. (this was my favorite)

It was so beautiful. There was beautiful trees, floweres, plants and waterfall everywhere.

We hiked through a bamboo part of the rain forest. All I kept thinking was this would be a kids paradise.

Love the sexy boots and fany pack... Such a fun morning. Lovvvvedd it!!!!

4th day Oahu

We had a fun day with not that many pictures. We took a 4 hour kayak trip to 2 island and snorkeled(we used the underwater cameras) We saw a lot of Sea Turtles and we were so tried when we were done. Our arms hurt for a couple of days.


Then we decided to do something fast and fun so we rented Jet Skies and rode them in the open ocean. (this was Curt's favorite) We only flew off once and it was when I was driving (of course). We again saw a lot of Sea Turtles ( they are everywhere)





This is a picture of the condo we stayed in. It was awesome and so close to the beach. I was talking to the kids and this was the only picture I had to show you how great the view was.

3rd day Oahu

This is the beautiful Temple and of course it was closed for 2 weeks but we loved seeing it






We then went to the Polynesian Culture Center and it was HOT and a long day but loved learning about all the different cultures and we got tattoos

















This was a man who climbed a coconut tree ( it was amazing)

2nd Day Oahu

Our next activity was quad running up in the mountains(this was my favorite) I never noticed how a little speed is so thrilling.















When we got off the Quads we were VERY DIRTY









Lastly we did horseback riding in the mountains. It was beautiful but man it really hurt my butt. I was kind of glad when it was over.












My legs were a little too short and it was very uncomfortable ride. My butt was sore for a couple of days. But we did it.

Day 2 Oahu

We went to this place called Kuloua Ranch and we chose 4 activities (1st one was a crazy bumpy jungle ride)

This was at a stop on the jungle ride. It was so beautiful. I took way too many pictures.

The 2nd activity was a ocean voyage. The water was so clear and we saw Hawaiian Sea Turtles everywhere.

This was the catermeran. I hope I spelled that right. It was a nice relaxing ride.

1st Day Oahu

We went to Pearl Harbor in the afternoon. It was amazing

Day 1 Oahu

Curt and I hike to the top of an old volcano. I was quite a hike and it was so hot.

Happy 4th of July

Ethan liked the fire a little too much and was having the time of his life..(We will have to watch him around fire now)

We went to Fresno to have the 4th with Curt's family and then Curt got bitten by red ants(that he is allergic too) and was in the ER all night . What Fun for him
