First Daisy Meeting

Abby just started daisy's (girl scouts) with a bunch of her friends from school and loves it. We are looking forward to a fun year.
They just did a craft and ran around while we filled out all the paper work and man was there a lot..

Aren't they cute. Can't wait to get the little outfit too( I think I need to learn to sew for the patches..)

Halloween Ward Party

Ethan wanted to be a clown ever since we went to the circus...Jacob was scared of him all night.

She is the cutest witch I have ever seen..
He had face paint on but rubbed it off. They loved all the games and of course the trunk or treat....

Happy Birthday Jacob

He is finally 2 and we had a small Birthday with the cousins. We made cupcakes in ice cream cones and they turned out really cute.
The whole family eating their cupcakes. Ethan ate 3 of them because Abby and Jacob didn't like them (go figure)
Jacob loved opening his presents and the tool box was by far his favorite. He still won't put his tools down.
Nana and Grandpa Shoemate got him a huge Mr. Potatoe head and Abby and Ethan are really enjoying it I am sure Jacob will too

Bates Nut Farm

We honestly didn't know that Curt was in the women hole and I was in the Farmer hole but it makes for a funny picture.
Our kids on some BIG pumpkins. Man they are growing up way to fast.
If you look really close Jacob had his toy hammer under his chin and is using the pliers to grab the plant. He loves this tools he got for his Birthday

The whole time we were in the pumpkin patch Ethan was having a great time jumping over the big pumpkins. He loved it.

Bates Nut Farm

Here is Ethan climbing the rock wall. The lady wanted to put him on the easy side but he wanted to try the harder side. She said he wasn't big enough but as you can see he made it up to the top without any problems. (you can do anything even if you are short)
Jacob loved the petting area. He had his toy pliers and kept trying to grab the animals tails.
Jacob didn't love the pony ride but he did it. It was a waste of 5 dollars but that's OK

All the cousis are getting ready to go look at the pumkins

This is Spencer he is 5 months younger than Jacob and the little ones had a blast too.
This is Ethan and Skyler they are 4 days apart and love spending time together( to bad they don't live closer)

Tomomi Comes Back!!!

We have hosted many foreign exchange students over the years but Tomomi was our favorite. She came back from China just to visit our family (we haven't seen her in 4 years)
Abby was only one last time she was here but Abby loved having her here (Abby even cried when she left)
We had a big dinner with all the families she knew 4 years ago and man has everyone changed. This is the Campbell's and now Thomas is almost as tall as Tomomi (he is now taller than me)
Here is the Rossel's who have now had 2 more kids to add to there family. We had a great time and we hope Tomomi comes back again
